1988
THE BEGINNING OF A FAMILY BUSINESS
Jack started building his 1st house in Havertown, Pa. At this point, Mike was 2 years old and on-site as Dad’s apprentice!
1990
ZAPPITELLI FAMILY BRANCHES INTO CUSTOM HOME RENOVATIONS
2004
SECOND GENERATION IN THE MAKING
Mike graduated as valedictorian from the Center for Arts & Technology with a degree in Carpentry & Cabinet making
2006
KEEPING UP WITH THE TIMES…
Mike continued his education and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in Building Construction Technology to further education in new construction codes & techniques.
2007
MANAGEMENT COMES INTO PLAY…
After graduating Penn College Mike continued along side his father in the building business. He decided he wanted to take the business to a new level and pursued a degree in Construction Management at Drexel University. Part of this program included roles as estimator, project manager & superintendant for commercial construction managers on building sites such as Paoli Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital and various sites in Philadelphia.
2008
THE SECOND GENERATION TAKES OVER…
Mike takes over the main role as owner of the residential construction company. Jack expands into commercial construction fit-outs.
2016
THE 3RD GENERATION ARRIVES
Michael A. Zappitelli, Jr is born and following in the footsteps of Dad & Pop.
